Children are the blessing of a home and here we share some very simple guidelines, based on Feng Shui, so they feel more happy and secure in our home. Childhood is a state of mind. Although the ideas of Feng Shui for children are designed mainly for the boys’ room, are also for anyone who dares to leave some preconceptions and enjoy the simple things. The basic point to be taken into account is that kids need to move into a space that encourages and makes them feel safe.

Kids love to jump on the bed
All parents (and anyone who remembers his childhood) know that kids love to jump on the bed and especially be dropped on it. As the bed provides more space and more secure, often ends up being chosen for the stunts. When choosing a bed or design a room for the kids is necessary to take into account this fact as well known: beds robust and not too narrow, rounded children and adults will feel more comfortable and happy.

According to feng shui, the heart of a house is situated where the family gathers each day to share a few moments. May be located in the kitchen, the dining room or in a living room or play-room. All family members should be represented in this space and children generally do it through pictures or things they have done.

You must therefore reserved for them a place where they can express themselves without interference. A cork bulletin board or a section of the refrigerator (if the venue is the kitchen) serve this purpose perfectly. The presence of these elements contributes to the identification of children with the space and a strengthening of family ties.
